Al Mendroín was created in the year 2009, in the city of Ayamonte (Huelva), the mouth of the Guadiana River; Being each member of the group a different place.
First by the friendship and then by the music, we were making this project an example of fusion based on different musical influences, thanks to the incessant search and common passion for art.
Throughout these years we have been a constant presence in cultural and historical scenarios and days in Spain, Portugal and Italy, always with the will to be able to participate in new events.
With Al Mendroín we give our personal and magical touch to interpretations coming from the old world, recovering a wide repertoire of instrumental themes of European tradition, ranging from the Middle Ages and Celtic culture, to traditional folk, passing through Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, England, Ireland and Scotland, among other places where we can always find an inspiring melody.
The good disposition is constant company of our actions, that over the last years, has made us reach a maturity of repertoire that allows us to adapt to any type of space or event. “
