Irish treble is a group of Irish Music and Irish Dance from Madrid (Spain), formed by eight young people-four professional dancers and four musicians-who with their show “Ireland in Dance ” Want to make known the different styles of the Irish dance, making Enjoy the audience with rhythms and vibrant steps.
This show shows the evolution of Irish dance or Irish dancing and traditional dance throughout its history, including from traditional 18th-century dances to modern “show-style” choreographies, to reels, jigs and other typical rhythms of The Irish music played by live musicians. Being the Irish folklore the guiding thread of the proposal, what distinguishes this show is its fusion with styles as disparate as flamenco or rock, giving it a touch of freshness and originality. A fascinating mixture that does not leave the spectator indifferent. Lord of the dance and Riverdance are modern shows that have influenced the popularity of Irish dance and that Irish treble perform in some of their performances.
In this year 2017 have participated in various festivals such as Interceltic Festival or Son Do Pazo, Polisònic Festival of Gandía, Celtic night of Granda, International Festival of the Sierra, CeltiPinto, Cáceres Irish Fleadh or Segontia Folk. In previous years they have gone through the DemandaFolk, FolkSegovia, Planeta Folk and exhibition MagiCéltica de Vallecas, among others.
They have also collaborated with artists such as Carlos Núñez, Celtic Short or Mägo of Oz, sharing a poster with the latter in the Celtic night.
Irish treble actively participates with the Embassy of Ireland in various events such as St Patrick’s Day, charity Ball or the Christmas Fair of cultures of Madrid.
